Definitions

  1. "Organizer" refers to Swift Students Community Japan.
  2. "Personal information" refers to information about a living individual as defined by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003), including name, address, phone number, and other identifiers such as email addresses and social media accounts.

Collection of Personal Information

The Organizer collects information registered during the use of services provided by the Organizer, such as events hosted by the Organizer, within the necessary scope. The collection of personal information is based on the consent of the provider in principle.

Use of Personal Information

The Organizer uses personal information provided within the scope of the following purposes:

  1. Identity verification, provision of services related to applications, billing of usage fees, and notification of changes, suspension, discontinuation, or termination of service conditions
  2. Provision of necessary information related to event operations, such as event announcements and distribution/use of official apps
  3. In addition to the above, provision of information related to the Organizer's various services and surveys for service improvement

In any of the following cases, personal information may be used or disclosed beyond the collection purposes described above:

  1. When required by law
  2. When the provider has given consent
  3. When the handling of personal information is entrusted in whole or in part within the scope necessary to achieve business objectives (e.g., when delivery services are outsourced)

Management of Personal Information

The Organizer strives to appropriately manage collected personal information.

Disclosure and Correction of Personal Information

When a provider of personal information requests disclosure of their own personal information, the Organizer will, in principle, disclose it without delay. When a request for correction of personal information is made, the Organizer will, in principle, make corrections without delay.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

The Organizer may revise this Privacy Policy without prior notice. When the Privacy Policy is revised, it will be posted on the website operated by the Organizer without delay.
